Packing

Bring hiking boots, water, snacks, sun protection, layers for changing weather, and a paper map. Mobile coverage is unreliable in the park's interior. A headlamp is useful for longer hikes.

Mountain weather changes rapidly. Download offline maps as cell coverage is unreliable. Carry water, food, and warm clothing even in summer. Stay on marked trails in fog. Seek forest shelter during electrical storms.
