Overview
San Ramón is a small agricultural town of about 7,700 people in Costa Rica's Central Valley, surrounded by cloud forests including El Cocoro and El Silencio de los Angeles reserves. The town offers a quieter, more authentic experience than larger destinations—visitors come for the nearby coffee plantations, fincas, and easy access to pristine cloud forests without the tourist crowds of Monteverde.
