Overview
Saint-Cloud is a very wealthy suburb west of Paris, most famous for the Domaine de Saint-Cloud, a sprawling park that was the private country residence of French royal figures including Marie-Antoinette and Napoleon. The town offers a calmer, more residential alternative to central Paris with fewer tourists, making it attractive for day-trippers seeking green space and historical gardens without the capital's crowds.
