Overview
Sabang is a small barangay on Mindoro's northeastern coast, part of Puerto Galera. Most visitors come specifically for the excellent scuba diving offered by the protected marine sanctuary, with around 35 dive shops in the area.

Accommodation
Budget rooms start from PHP 400-1500, mid-range from PHP 1500-3000. Dive resort packages often offer better value including accommodation and dives.
Diving
Around 35 dive shops offer single tank dives from USD 18-32 including equipment, boat and guide. Discounts available for multiple dives and for divers with own equipment. Almost all sites are within 10 minutes boat ride.
Money
Credit cards are not widely accepted in Sabang except at some larger dive shops and resorts. Exchange money at the tourist center or Tropicana restaurant. Maxbank ATM accepts local and international cards with 3% commission. ATMs in Calapan or Batangas have more international options.
Transport
Tricycles to Puerto Galera cost PHP 50 one way. Motorbike/scooter rental is PHP 500-700 per day. Most destinations are walkable. Ferries to Luzon depart from Sabang beach near Eddies Bar or from Calapan.
