Overview
Rosebery is the surviving mining community of Tasmania's West Coast council area, maintaining continuous operation while neighboring towns like Zeehan and Queenstown have experienced closures and quiet periods. The town serves as a practical base for exploring nearby natural attractions including Tasmania's highest waterfall and rainforest walks, with a small local character that reflects its mining heritage.
