Hotels and pensions bookable online. Lakeside campsite flooded November–May; alternative campsite in Sindon.

Activities

Canoe rentals around 10 EUR available from local suppliers. Boat tours on Skadar Lake recommended from Rijeka Crnojevica rather than Virpazar for better views.

Safety

Lake Skadar contains many water snakes and frogs, but neither are dangerous. Snakes are harmless—swimming is safe. Avoid lily pads to protect lake ecology.

Transport

Buses from Podgorica are infrequent. Best access is via main road buses that stop at Metirizi, then walk or hitchhike into town. No direct return bus.

Weather

Campsite floods November to May—avoid tent camping in winter months when accessing the lake area.
