Overview
Rieti is a small city of about 50,000 residents in Lazio, central Italy, often called the 'Umbilicus Italiae' (navel of Italy) since Roman times. Unlike tourist-heavy destinations, Rieti remains largely undiscovered by mass tourism, offering a genuine Italian experience with medieval walls, Renaissance architecture, and easy access to the Apennines.
