Overview
Ranganathittu is a tiny sanctuary (under 1 km²) with an astonishing density of nesting birds. Painted storks, spoonbills, white ibises, egrets, and herons crowd onto river islands you can approach by boat—unlike larger parks where wildlife stays distant.
