Hotels range from €80-200 B&B double. Self-catering apartments widely available. Town sprawls 8 km east-west.
Beaches
Main beaches are sheltered by volcanic hills. Playa Flamingo is best for children, Playa Dorada is larger, Playa de Colorados is for water sports with black lava.

Diving
Year-round diving with water at 20°C and 25m+ visibility. Eight dive centers operate from Marina Rubicón. Museo Atlántico is an underwater sculpture park at 12-14m.
Transport
Bus 60/62 runs every 30 min from Arrecife; Bus 161 from the airport costs €3.30. Fred Olsen ferries to Fuerteventura run hourly (30 min, €32 adult). Local Bus 30 costs €1.40.
