Overview
Penicuik is a small Scottish town 10 miles south of Edinburgh that serves as the gateway to the scenic Pentland Hills. It's primarily a commuter town for Edinburgh workers, but draws visitors to the nearby Rosslyn Chapel, famous for its intricately carved Apprentice Pillar and association with Dan Brown thrillers.
