Yantai Penglai International Airport is 45 minutes away with shuttle buses to Penglai Bus Station for ¥25. Rail connections available via Penglai Railway Station.

Best visited spring through autumn (April-October). Summers are hot and crowded with beach season. Winters are cold. Annual average temperature 12.5°C with 664mm annual precipitation.
