Overview
Peel is a small fishing port and beach resort on the west coast of the Isle of Man, with a population of about 5700 (2021). Its main attraction is Peel Castle, occupying St Patrick's Isle, a tidal islet connected to town by road.

Transport
Bus 6 is the quickest route from Douglas to Peel (35 min, hourly). Bus 5 continues east to Ramsey. The main bus stop is by Town Hall.
Weather
The Isle of Man has notoriously variable weather. Even in summer, bring layers and waterproofs. The west coast (including Peel) can be windy.
