Overview
The Peak District is England's first and most visited national park, offering wild moorland, gentle walks, and limestone valleys within easy reach of Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, and Derby. The region balances outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, and potholing with cultural attractions including Chatsworth House, historic towns like Buxton and Bakewell, and fascinating caves where Blue John stone is mined.
