Overview
Pattadakal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site designated in 1987, showcasing the culmination of the earliest experiments in the vesara style of Hindu temple architecture. The town displays both Dravidian (Southern) and Nagara (Northern, Indo-Aryan) styles of temple architecture side by side, offering a unique architectural comparison.

Summer months (March-May) are extremely hot. Visit during winter (November-February) for comfortable weather.
