Overview
Palamós is a coastal town on the Costa Brava with several sandy beaches and a working fishing port that anchors small cruise ships. The main economic activity is tourism, and the long Platja Gran beach in the west merges almost without interruption with Sant Antoni de Calonge beach, creating a continuous stretch of sand backed by promenades, hotels, and restaurants.
