Toro Verde zipline operations offer one of the world's longest ziplines at 2.5 kilometers. Tours should be booked in advance. Doña Juana Waterfall offers swimming opportunities with limited parking.

Safety
Mountain driving requires caution—roads are narrow with hairpin turns and steep grades. The road to Toro Negro State Forest is particularly difficult, taking over two hours from San Juan with steep, curvy passages.

A rental car is essential for reaching Orocovis and getting around. Roads through the Cordillera Central feature narrow, curvy mountain passages with steep inclines and cliff drops. PR-143 is also called the Panoramic Route for its scenic beauty.
