Overview
Ojén is a tiny whitewashed mountain town perched 200m above the Costa del Sol, offering panoramic views of Marbella and the coast 1000m below. The town of about 3,000 residents is famous for its traditional anise liqueur, Aguardiente Ojén, once a major economic driver.

4G coverage is available from all Spanish carriers. 5G network has extended partway up from Marbella but has not yet reached Ojén as of December 2024.

Ojén is a small mountain town with limited public transport; most visitors arrive by car or taxi from Marbella.
