Overview
Nora is one of three Swedish towns with exceptionally well-preserved wooden building town centres, alongside Eksjö and Hjo. With only about 12,000 inhabitants, this former Bergslagen mining town offers a charming merchant city atmosphere with tiny boutiques, heritage sites, and the famous NoraGlass ice cream (made since 1923).
