Overview
New Mills is a small Derbyshire mill town at the junction of the Rivers Sett and Goyt, bisected by impressive gritstone gorges contained within the Torrs recreational area. It won't feature on many itineraries independently, but it's worth stopping for an hour or two when travelling between Manchester and the Peak District.
