Overview
Neive is one of Piedmont's most enchanting medieval villages, perched atop a hill in the Langhe wine region. With only 3,300 residents, the town preserves an atmosphere of ancient cobbled streets arranged in concentric rings around the 13th-century Clock Tower.

No train station; arrive by car or infrequent bus. Park at village base and walk up into the car-free historic center.

Best visited Apr-Jun or Sep-Nov. Winter is quiet with limited services. Summer can be warm but manageable.

Neive produces Barbaresco and other prestigious Piedmont wines. Visit cantine for tastings; advance bookings recommended during harvest season (Sep-Nov).
