Order food at resorts at least 2 hours in advance as cooks shop at the market first. Gan Garden and Green Heaven are reliable alternatives to resort dining.

Neil Island is cash-based with limited ATM access. Bring sufficient rupees from Port Blair before arriving. Budget ₹150-250 for dorms, ₹200-400 for daily meals.
Safety
Sandflies at Sunset Point can be vicious—bring repellent. Only swim at Bharatpur Beach where water sports are officially allowed.
Transport
Ferry from Port Blair costs ₹195 (2 hours). Two-wheeler hire at ₹300/day is the most flexible way to explore. Fill fuel before 5 PM as stations close early.
