Overview
Nature Park Bulgarka is one of Bulgaria's most visited protected areas, spanning nearly 22,000 hectares along the northern slopes of the central Balkan Mountains. The park offers a rare combination of mountain landscapes, historic sites like the 1833 Sokolski Monastery, and the Etar Architectural-Ethnographic Complex—a 1960s recreation of a 17th-19th century Bulgarian Revival village.
