Overview
Nagu is a Swedish-speaking archipelago community in southwest Finland, consisting of two main islands (Storlandet and Lillandet) and about 3,000 minor islands. The area is famous for its maritime heritage, medieval stone church, and access to the Archipelago National Park.

Road ferries are free public service connecting main islands. Coaches from Turku run 6-8 times daily (€12, children half price). Check ferry timetables and order connections in advance.
Weather
Summer is best for full ferry service and events. Winter sees reduced services, possible ice roads, and locals retreating to mainland apartments. Midsummer weekend brings heavy ferry traffic.
