Overview
Moritzburg is a small Baroque town 16 km northwest of Dresden, famous for its perfectly preserved hunting castle built for Saxon electors. The town gained international fame as the filming location for the beloved 1973 Czechoslovakian-East German fairytale film "Three Wishes for Cinderella" (Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel).
