Overview
Mora sits on Lake Siljan, the sixth largest lake in Sweden, and is considered the essence of Dalarna province. The town is famous for the Dala Horse—the most iconic Swedish souvenir—and was a key site in Gustav Vasa's 1521-1523 war of independence.
