Safety
The bay has deadly fast-rising tides, deep mud, and quicksand. Never cross the tidal flats without checking tide tables and an experienced guide. The island has steep stairs and sheer drops.
Transport
Parking costs €14 per car at the mainland lot. Free shuttle buses run 07:30-midnight connecting the parking area to the island. Pontorson is the nearest train station.
