Overview
Mont-Saint-Hilaire is an apple-growing heartland with over a dozen orchards and cider houses clustered at the foot of the mountain. Peak agrotourism season is late summer through fall. The Gault Nature Reserve is open 8AM-4PM daily. Mountain hiking best in spring through fall.

Transport
The AMT commuter train connects Mont-Saint-Hilaire to Downtown Montreal. Local RTM buses serve the Vallée du Richelieu sector. A car is useful for reaching orchards and the mountain.
