Limited cell service and WiFi throughout the park. Radio station 1610AM provides current park information.

All prices in USD. Credit cards accepted at park facilities; cash recommended for campground and smaller purchases. ATMs available in Cortez outside the park.
Packing
Bring layers for variable temperatures, sturdy hiking shoes, sunscreen, and ample water. Ladder climbing required for cliff dwelling tours.
Transport
Private vehicle required for most park exploration. Gas available only at Morefield Campground store. Wetherill Mesa accessible by tram (no cars allowed there).
Weather
High-desert climate with hot summers (90s°F) and mild winters (40s°F). Afternoon thunderstorms common July-August. Snow possible October-May.
