Overview
Marathon is a quiet town of 3,100 people on Lake Superior's north shore, best known as the largest settlement on the Trans-Canada Highway between Sault Ste Marie and Thunder Bay. It serves as a convenient stop for road trippers and a base for accessing Pukaskwa National Park, Neys Provincial Park, and the unique multicoloured stone Pebble Beach.
