Overview
Maldon is a compact historic town of about 1,500 people in Victoria's Goldfields region, 140km north-west of Melbourne. Declared Australia's First Notable Town by the National Trust in 1965, it retains an authentic Victorian streetscape without the tourist development of nearby Bendigo or Castlemaine.
