Overview
Mainau, known as "The Flower Island," is a 1.1 km long and 600 m wide island in Lake Constance with 3.2 km of coastline and a highest point at 425 m. The island is maintained as a garden showcase and model of excellent environmental practices, featuring Mediterranean flora, a tropical greenhouse, and thousands of butterflies.
