Overview
Macquarie Pass National Park is a small protected area straddling the scenic Macquarie Pass at the border of Illawarra and Southern Highlands regions in New South Wales. The park offers two notable waterfall walks—Cascade Falls and Rainbow Falls—that provide accessible nature experiences for day-trippers.

Food
No food or drink facilities in the park. Bring all supplies and at least 1-2 litres of water per person for walks.
Packing
Bring hiking boots, rain jacket, water, snacks, and sun protection. Mobile coverage limited in park.
Transport
Car access only. Drive 13 km west from Albion Park on Illawarra Highway (A48) to reach the park. No public transport available.
Weather
Best visited autumn through spring for waterfall flows. Summer can be hot with reduced water flow. Wet weather enhances falls but creates muddy trails.
