Overview
Lubao is one of the oldest municipalities in Pampanga, established in the 1570s, making it a historically significant stop in Central Luzon. The town is best known as the birthplace of the Macapagal dynasty, producing two Philippine presidents: Diosdado Macapagal and his daughter Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
