Overview
Los Cristianos is one of the most popular tourist centres in southern Tenerife, with two sandy beaches, a bustling port, and year-round sunny climate. At about 21,000 permanent residents (2015), it is the most authentic of the three adjacent resorts (Playa de las Américas and Costa Adeje), where locals mix with tourists rather than being overrun by them.
