Overview
Linosa is one of Italy's most remote islands—a tiny volcanic speck in the Pelagie archipelago between Sicily and Tunisia. With only ~430 residents and no airport, it sees far fewer tourists than nearby Lampedusa.

Accommodation
No hotels exist; a few B&Bs and holiday rentals serve visitors. Book well ahead in summer, especially July-August. Residencia La Posta (Vicola Pisa 3) is one listed option.
Connectivity
Standard Italian mobile networks cover the island. Confirm with providers for specific coverage. WiFi available at some accommodations but not guaranteed.
Money
Italy uses the Euro (€). ATMs may be limited on Linosa—bring sufficient cash from Lampedusa or mainland Sicily. Most local establishments accept cash.
Safety
Basic clinic on island but no hospital. Serious medical emergencies require evacuation. Swimmers should beware currents and rocky shorelines during rough seas.
Transport
Linosa has no airport—access is exclusively by sea via hydrofoil from Lampedusa (45 min) or ferry from Porto Empedocle near Agrigento (usually overnight). Book ferry tickets in advance during summer.
