Overview
Lautrec is one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, a fortified medieval settlement of 1,755 residents that preserves its 14th-century character with ramparts, timber-framed houses, and a 1338 city wall. The village claims the Toulouse-Lautrec family as natives (though the famous painter was born in Albi).
