Overview
Lannion is a subprefecture of Côtes-d'Armor and the capital of Trégor, centered on an urban area of nearly 60,000 inhabitants. The old quarter attracts tourists with its old squares, the Brélévenez church, half-timbered houses, chapels, and frescoes.

Lannion hosts summer 'Les Tardives' concerts in the town square and is home to the Carré Magique theatre company. Breton language (Lannuon) is the local name for the town.
Food
Thursday is market day with local produce, cheese, and seafood available. L'Anthocyane is the main fine dining option in town.
Transport
Lannion train station offers TGV to Paris (once weekly outside summer) and frequent TER services to Saint-Brieuc, Guingamp, and Brest. The local airport has no commercial flights since March 2018.
