Safety
Swim between the flags at patrolled beaches. Eastern Beach is only patrolled between Christmas and Australia Day. Be aware of jellyfish in the lake inlet.
Transport
Lakes Entrance is on the Princes Highway (A1). Coaches connect to Bairnsdale trains from Melbourne and services from Sydney and Canberra.
