Overview
La Tuque is a town of over 11,000 people in Haute-Mauricie, Quebec, best known as the birthplace of Canadian singer-songwriter Félix Leclerc. Its economy is based on pulp and paper production and hydroelectric power, but it serves as the gateway to vast wilderness for hunting, fishing, and outdoor tourism.
