Cash is king in KKB. Maybank has an ATM at the morning market area. Cards accepted at hotels but not at local eateries.
Safety
Avoid hiking to Chiling Waterfall during or after rain. Water levels rise rapidly and have caused fatalities.
Transport
KTM train connects KKB to Kuala Lumpur via Batu Caves station. Buses serve routes within Selangor and to nearby towns.
