Overview
Kosrae is one of four states in the Federated States of Micronesia, distinguished by its extreme isolation—hundreds of miles from the nearest island, making day trips to outer islands impossible. The island offers pristine hard coral reefs, mountainous rainforest interior, and traditional cottages within 50 feet of the ocean.
