Overview
Knock is a small village in County Mayo that became one of the world's major Marian shrines after a vision in 1879. Three figures—the Virgin Mary, St Joseph, and St John the Evangelist—reportedly appeared on the south gable wall of the old church, drawing pilgrims ever since.
