Overview
Kleve is a compact German town of 52,000 residents on the Lower Rhine, offering Baroque-era parks, several museums, and a relaxed atmosphere away from larger tourist crowds. The town served as a secondary residence for Brandenburg-Prussia in the 17th century and was a fashionable spa destination from the mid-1700s until its mineral springs dried up in 1914.
