Overview

Kinross is a small market town on the shores of Loch Leven, offering access to Loch Leven Castle where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned and escaped in 1568. The town serves as a gateway to the Lomond Hills for hiking and is a convenient stop between Edinburgh and Perth.
