Kimbe Bay offers world-class diving with 900+ fish species and 400+ coral species. Best seasons are mid-August to December and February to June.

Currency is Papua New Guinean Kina (PGK). Credit card acceptance is limited outside major hotels.
Transport
Air Niugini flies 1-3 times daily from Port Moresby to Hoskins (HKN) airport, 30 miles from Kimbe. Local transport is mainly by boat.
