Overview
Kilfenora is a village of just 150 residents in County Clare, yet it punches above its weight as the gateway to The Burren's stark limestone scenery. Its main draw is the 12th-century Kilfenora Cathedral with its three high crosses, plus access to prehistoric ring forts, tower houses, and the famous Sheila-na-Gig carvings at Kilnaboy.
