Overview
Kaili is an industrial city with visible pollution from coal power stations and cement factories that makes the urban core unattractive for most travelers. However, it serves as the essential transport hub and gateway to one of China's most culturally rich regions—the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture.
