Overview
Kâhta exists as a stopover for travelers heading to Mount Nemrut, one of Turkey's most dramatic archaeological sites. The town itself has little to offer beyond basic services, but its proximity to the UNESCO-listed summit with its giant stone heads makes it essential for history and archaeology enthusiasts.
