Overview
Jinjiang is a mainly industrial county-level city just across the river from Quanzhou, with a population of about two million as of 2020. For backpackers, its main draw is the rare Cao'an Temple — the world's only surviving Manichean temple — and the well-restored Anping Bridge along the ancient coastal road.
