Overview
Jenolan Caves are the oldest known caves on Earth, dated to 340 million years, located in the Blue Mountains World Heritage area of New South Wales. The cave system features ten spectacular show caves filled with astonishing limestone formations, winning awards between 2008 and 2013 for their tours, activities and facilities.

Connectivity
Only Telstra mobile services work in the valley and reserve. No mobile coverage in caves or National Park.
Money
Reserve entry is free. Cave tours cost $42-55 per adult, $27-37 concession. Accommodation ranges from $70 (hostel) to $500+ (cottages).
Safety
Ghost tours require booking ahead. Adventure caving requires climbing, crawling, and squeezing through tight spaces.
Transport
The Jenolan Caves are accessed via Jenolan Caves Road. Tickets are purchased at Caves House in the reserve.
Weather
The caves are open all year. School holidays and long weekends bring larger crowds and more tour options.
